About Don Harp
Growing up in Fayette County as the son of a farmer, Don Harp is in his 20th year as Senior Minister at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.  His congregation has experienced tremendous growth during his years at Peachtree Road and currently has more than 6900 members.  A graduate of Fayette County High School and Young Harris Junior College, Don received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Huntingdon College, Masters of Divinity from Emory University, and Doctorate of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary at the University of Chicago.  For over forty years, he has served in ministry to the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Don is an avid fisherman and golfer.  He is married to the former Mary Ellen Dendy of Montgomery, Alabama.  They have two children, Allen and Robin, and five grandchildren.
