We welcome our new
Senior Minister, Rev. Bill Britt!
On Sunday June 29 we officially welcomed Bill Britt to Peachtree Road UMC. Rev. Britt comes to Peachtree Road from Athens First UMC where he has served for the past 11 years. He is a Georgia native and has served United Methodist churches in Forsyth, Augusta, Cartersville and of course the thriving congregation in Athens. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory and his Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary. It will be an exciting time here at the church as we look toward the future with Reverend Britt as our new leader! We are so glad to have Bill and Wendie and their children Will and Sara an important part of our church family. |
