Congratulating New Parents
Each and every child born or adopted into our church family receives a special welcome from Children’s Ministries!  Information about our many programs is dispatched to all new parents as soon as we learn of a baby’s birth.  In addition, a New Mom Visitor contacts the family to answer questions, offer support, and deliver gifts from Children’s Ministries.

The Nursery
All young children, ages 6 weeks through 2 years, are invited to attend the PRUMC Nursery Ministry on Sunday mornings.  Our nursery wing encompasses ten classrooms on the first floor of the Children’s Building, and age level classes are staffed by dedicated, paid caregivers and an incredible team of volunteers.  No advance registration is necessary.

The Sacrament of Infant Baptism
The church invites your child and your entire family to participate in the sacrament of Infant Baptism, a celebration which enables each of us to welcome your child into the family of God.  During infant baptism, we as parents and sponsors affirm the God's promises as well as reaffirm our beliefs and committments.  Baptisms are celebrated at both morning worship services and can be scheduled on most Sundays, except for festival worship days.  To arrange for your child’s special day, call the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Minister at 404-240-8241.
