Location The Drop-in Office, Toddler, Two Year Old, and Big Kids rooms are on the 2nd floor (rooms D211A & B, D213 and D216) of the Children's Building, located in the rear of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. The Drop-In Infant room is on the first floor (room D121). |

. Children may attend 2 days per week. Registration cards must be filled out for every child either on or before his/her first day. These forms must be updated yearly. Members may make reservations up to 4 weeks in advance; non-members may make reservations up to 2 weeks in advance. We do not take standing reservations. |

Drop-In Staff The Drop-In has a wonderful staff consisting of mothers, grandmothers, former teachers, and college students - all with a love for children. All employees are trained in CPR and First Aid and participate in on-going training throughout the year. |

Daily Procedures Parents must sign-in their children every morning. The sign-in sheet is located just outside the door of each classroom. Please fill out the sign-in sheet completely with any special instructions for your child (nap time, bottle, food allergies, etc.). Parents must also provide their cell phone numbers or special contact numbers for the day. If the parent plans to stay at the church or Preschool, the exact location must be indicated on the sign-in sheet. Childen will only be released to the parent or designated caregiver. |

What to Bring Please bring an extra set of clothing for each child. If your child is in diapers, please bring at least 3 disposable diapers. Also, include a no-spill cup or bottle if your child cannot drink from a paper cup. Label everything you bring including: pacifiers, cups, bottles, diapers, extra clothes, jackets, etc. Please be sure that your child arrives in a clean diaper, and we will make sure he/she leaves in one. |

Food A mid-morning snack will be provided for children in the toddler and older rooms. A packed lunch provided by parents will be served as well. Please pack a lunch that your child can feed him/herself. No juice boxes are allowed in the Toddler or Two-year old room.A mid-morning snack is served in our infant room as specified by the parent on the sign-in sheet. Bottles and food sent by the parent are also given to infants as specified by parents on the sign-in sheet. |

Health Policy Our definition of sickness includes but is not limited to the following symptoms: Fever, colds, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash, on-going cough, runny nose, runny eyes, etc. Your child must be free of these symptoms for at least 24 hours before he / she can attend Drop-In. If your child arrives at the Drop-In sick or becomes ill during the morning, you will be asked to take him / her home. To ensure the health of the other children and our caregivers, we cannot make exceptions for anyone. |

Emergency Release Form Every precaution is taken to keep the children safe and well. Parents must sign an emergency release form in order to provide your child optimum care while at Drop-In. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact a parent and the physician named on the emergency release form. In the event an injury or illness does not appear serious but medical treatment is deemed necessary, paramedics will be contacted immediately. The paramedics will decide whether they can administer treatment at the church or whether the child whould be taken to the nearest hospital for emergency care. |

Drop-In Holidays Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after Christmas Eve through New Years Day Other holidays may be scheduled at the discretion of the Drop-In Director.
In the case of unusual or inclement weather, please call Drop-In at 404.240.8269. The voice mail greeting will inform you as to whether or not Drop-In will be open.
