Kenya

In March 2009 PRUMC started taking mission teams to Kenya. Our focus has been to connect with the United Methodist church in Kenya and support their projects. The UMC Kenya Health Board devised a 5 year strategic plan which outlines goals and objectives. The 2010 Christmas Eve donations support a water initiative in Kenya to promote clean water.  Teams from PRUMC will be distributing clean water filters to the people of Kenya and looking into sites for bore holes.  Chat Uken, a PRUMC member, is an UMVIM missionary in Kenya and overseeing our projects there.

Clean Water:  A Simple Solution
