Each year during Lent, PRUMC holds the Great Day of Service. On this day, over 1400 members and friends of Peachtree Road gather for breakfast, worship, and Holy Communion. We then go out in the Atlanta community to serve those who need our help.
On this one Saturday, our congregation participates in service projects covering construction, landscaping, painting, cleaning, organizing and stocking to visiting, playing basketball and Bingo, playing with children and singing for older adults. We have over 85 projects that span a wide variety of activities - each one allowing us to share our gifts with others.
This year, PRUMC celebrates the 20th anniversary of The Great Day. Join us in honoring 20 years of service by volunteering on this one day. Register online starting February 12. |
