PUBLICATION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All articles and images must be submitted by a PRUMC staff member in the department corresponding to the class, event, service or function to be advertised. To submit an article and image, please contact the appropriate department to request their approval. The appropriate department will then submit the approved article and materials to the PRUMC Communications Department.
- Items that are church-wide or church-community related are given priority.
- Priority is based on scope and date of a function.
- We reserve the right to edit submissions.
- Submissions may not appear in consecutive publications if there is limited space. Articles are rotated if space is limited.

SUBMISSION FORMATS
The following formats are accepted. Please note: All text for articles must be submitted via email either as the text of an email or as a pdf. Dates are to be formatted as such: 12:00 am, 5:30 pm, etc. Do not use capital letters. Do not abbreviate days, dates, or locations. Contact information must include a phone number and email address.
1. Brief Article: For weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter
- Title
- Day, Date, Time, Location
- 1 descriptive sentence
- Contact information - name, phone, email.

The Many Moods of Christmas Concert

Our annual Christmas concert will feature Chancel Choir and Orchestra, Scott H. Atchison, conductor; The Georgia Boy Choir, David White, conductor; and David Coucheron, ASO concertmaster. Highlights include a candlelight procession to Once in Royal David’s City, Fantasia on Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams and a finalé of treasured carols. Complimentary tickets available in the Dogwood Shop, at the Rollins Front Desk and in the Music Office. PUBLICATION DEADLINES
The following deadlines allow for organization, editing, formatting, typesetting (or posting), proofing, printing and binding. If applicable, time is also built in for processing and mailing. The following are general deadline rules, but deadlines will be scheduled earlier for larger bulletins such as Easter and Christmas eve, or to allow for printer holidays.
- Weekly Worship Bulletin
Deadline: Monday prior to Sunday worship, 12:00 pm
(I.e. Monday, December 5 is the deadline for the December 11 bulletin)
Text Format: Brief Article
Image Format: Images are not accepted for bulletin publication.
