You may remember that back in March, ASW Distillery switched its production over to hand sanitizer so they could supply Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and other organizations struggling with shortages during the pandemic. ASW owners/PRUMC members Jim and Kelly Chasteen created “Give One/Get One”, a program through which corporate and individual purchases of sanitizer translate into an equal amount donated to organizations in need.
What an extraordinary response Jim and Kelly have seen since then! Thanks to you and others who’ve made purchases, ASW has donated sanitizer to an array of PRUMC Outreach partners, including Agape Youth & Family Center (35 gallons), Atlanta Mission (5 gallons), Trinity Missions (4 gallons), and Wesley Woods Senior Living Facilities (60 gallons), beyond donations to CHOA and other organizations in need. Wesley Woods will be picking up more sanitizer shortly, and we’re so happy to see extra support being given to our Mother’s Day donation partner, which is caring for our most vulnerable loved ones during an especially challenging time.
Jim and Kelly have determined that they’ll continue this program as long as there is a need, and Atlanta is very grateful. We thank them for so generously extending a helping hand, and we thank all of you who have fueled donations. If you’d like to get more information, please visit their purchase site here.
