What time is worship?
Worship services take place each Sunday at 8:45 am, 11:15 am and 5:00 pm and each service is just under an hour. Learn more about our services, styles and surroundings here.
Where do I park?
Peachtree Road has 3 parking areas on our campus. We recommend different lots depending on your Sunday activities. To view parking areas, buildings and suggestions, click here.
If I can’t make it to church, can I watch it online?
Yes! Each Sunday our 11:15 am traditional service is streamed live here. Previous service and sermon videos are available here.
How do I request flowers be placed on the altar?
To honor a loved one with flowers on the sanctuary altar, please contact Linda Schutte at 770.329.2075.
What programs are available for children on Sundays?
We have care and programs for all children from 6 weeks through 5th grade, as well as entire space and program dedicated to our youth (middle and high school.) You can find information on our Children’s programs here, and our Youth programs here.
Is there coffee available? Breakfast?
Yes! Quality java is available at our Halle-brew-jah Coffee Bar located in our fellowship space, Grace Hall. We offer brewed coffee plus barista-made hot and cold drinks. Proceeds support our global mission initiatives.
SUNDAY SCHOOL & BIBLE STUDIES
How do I find a Sunday School class?
We have a great variety of Sunday School classes for all ages and stages. To review our many offerings, click here or contact Elizabeth Byrd for a one-on-one conversation. All classes are open to visitors and new members. Sit in on as many as you like to find what feels right.
What kind of Bible studies do you offer?
We offer short-term, long-term and ongoing study groups. Studies cover a broad range of relevant topics that challenge and inspire. For fall studies, information and registration is available August 1. We also have Advent, Winter, Lenten, Spring and Summer studies, forums and book clubs. Detailed information can be found here and is updated seasonally.
Are there other small groups I can join that aren’t strictly Bible Study?
Yes! Several groups have started based on shared interest. You can even start your own! For more information contact Elizabeth Byrd. You can also complete an online form to find or start a group here.
JOINING THE CHURCH
How do I join the church?
New members are warmly welcomed into the Peachtree Road church family one Sunday each month in our worship services. To learn more contact Daniel Ogle.
What is expected of me as a member?
Church membership promises that Peachtree Road will support your lifelong faith journey as a Christian and provide a loving, nurturing community. Members support that community through their prayers, presence, gifts and service. To fully engage in church life is to be fulfilled by it.
Can non-members be married at the church?
Non-church members are most welcome to be married at Peachtree Road. The guidelines for members and non-members are the same and ceremonies must be officiated by PRUMC clergy (no exceptions).
Who do I contact to schedule my wedding?
Please contact our Events Coodinator Deb Knott to schedule your wedding at Peachtree Road.

PASTORAL CARE, MEMORIAL SERVICES
How do I request a visit for someone who is in the hospital?

How do I request a visit for an older adult who is homebound?

How do I begin making arrangements for a memorial service?

How do I request prayer (add someone to the prayer list)?
How do I sign up to be a prayer volunteer?
To volunteer to pray for the needs of our congregation, please contact Brittany Charron.
Where are the prayer rooms?
We have a prayer room available on the first floor of our administrative office area in the Rollins Center. A second, more private prayer room is located off of the rotunda, near the chapel and sanctuary.
Do I have to pray at the church?
You may prayer anywhere you feel comfortable – at home, outside or in another sacred space. Many volunteers prefer the church prayer rooms since they contain weekly prayer lists, stationary, devotionals and access to the staff. It is a personal preference and not required.
How do I join the choir?
If you are interested in joining one of our adult choirs, please contact our Director of Music, Scott Atchison.
If you have youth or children who are interested in choir, we would love to have them! Our music season is aligned with the school year and we register in August. You may also contact Kathy Fletcher.
How do I reserve a room for a meeting?
If your meeting is affiliated with a ministry at Peachtree Road, a staff member can assist you with reserving a room.
How do I reserve a space for an event?
If your meeting is not affiliated with a ministry at Peachtree Road (see above), please contact our Events Coordinator, Deb Knott.
How do I request A/V equipment for an event?
You may request basic A/V equipment for an event when you make your room reservation. Peachtree Road staff can help with set up, but we do not provide laptops or software. Attendees should come prepared to run their presentations on their own personal computers.
Do you have a book store?
The Dogwood Book & Gift Shop is located on the first level of the Sanctuary near the entrance to the Rollins Center. The book shop is open in the Fall and Spring and carries a great selection of titles including materials for Peachtree Road studies. In addition to books, the shop carries inspirational art, children’s items and beautiful gifts.
Do I have to be a member to enroll my child in The Preschool?
Although admission priority may be given to PRUMC members, you do not have to be a church member to be a student in the Preschool.
Where is The Preschool located?
The Preschool is located within the Evelyn Gordy-Rankin Children’s Building in the back of the church campus.
Is The Preschool accredited?
The Preschool has been fully accredited for many years by the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)/AdvancED.
How do I apply to The Preschool?

Do I have to be a member to participate in Sports programs?
Not at all! Most of our participants are not members of Peachtree Road, but we are all part of a great community through these programs.
Where is the Sports & Recreation Building?
The Sports and Recreation offices and classrooms are located in the back of the church campus near Grace Hall. Many camps and programs take place on campus but many more take place at our satellite fields in our community.
What kinds of sports programs do you offer?
We offer youth sports leagues for basketball, soccer and rugby. We have private and group training for those, plus lacrosse, fitness and speed. We also have a great variety of after-school programs for mind and body, camps and dance class.
