Looking for Jesus

Looking for Jesus

Looking for Jesus
Advent Sermon Series
Sundays in December

Everyone seems to be looking for Jesus and the gifts of peace, love, joy, and hope he promises in this season. There are just a couple of problems — many are searching for him in the wrong places and others wouldn’t recognize him if they saw him. Are you struggling to see Jesus in your life? Worship with us each Sunday during December as we join those from that first Christmas in looking for Jesus and the peace he brings.

For all ages, Carols by Candlelight is a PRUMC tradition adapted from the first Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at King’s College, Cambridge, held on Christmas Eve in 1918. Our carol service is filled with scripture and exquisite music spanning five centuries. It closes with a community carol sing as we celebrate the magic of Christmas singing “Silent Night” bathed in candlelight. Childcare available for ages 4 and younger by reservation only. Email to reserve.
