Keeping Families in Faith

At Peachtree Road, we take great joy and responsibility in keeping families connected through their faith. In this nurturing community, we help create relationships that remain strong from Sunday to Sunday, and well beyond.  Our exciting programs, cool curriculum and wonderful mentors help children develop their faith in fun ways that they can understand. Parents are supported through enriching forums, and great seasonal events where families make wonderful memories together.

Caring for Our Youngest

At Peachtree Road, we celebrate and welcome all God’s children.

“But each one has a particular gift from God, one having one kind
and another a different kind.”
I Corinthians 7:7

We seek to create an atmosphere where special needs children and their families are welcome, feel a sense of belonging and support, and can learn about and experience God’s love and compassion through the example of others.

If you have a special needs situation in your family and would like information about opportunities available, please contact Martha Christopher at marthac@prumc.org.

Infant Baptism at Peachtree Road.

Throughout the year we offer programs designed to support and encourage parents in raising happy, confident children. Programs have covered topics spanning building character in children to finding a balance in parenting. Programs are designed to support healthy marriages and families in a demanding world, so we also discuss managing conflict and creating a happy future.

We have welcomed wonderful guest speakers who are experts in their field such as John Rosemond, Tommy Newberry, Chap Clark, and our own Pastoral Counselor, Reverend Ron Greer, who is always a well-received, and much-appreciated favorite.

Specific to all we offer here at Peachtree Road, we host “New to the Nursery” and “Leaving the Nursery.” These orientations are offered twice a year and introduce parents to the many programs that are available through our Children’s Ministries, our Nursery and the next phase of Christian education for little ones. These take place at 10:00 am on select Sundays. Look for them in the spring and fall.
