During the season of Lent we invite you to journey with Christ, and with each other through the Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross are paintings, which are accompanied with devotions and prayers, that depict successive events on Jesus’ journey from his condemnation to his crucifixion, death, and burial. Each Wednesday in Lent, two paintings of the stations will be hung throughout the Rollins Building, along with a devotion and prayer.
This will continue until Wednesday, April 17, of Holy Week. On this day, starting at 11:30 am, clergy members will stand at each station to guide participants in devotion and prayer, and lead them to the next station. This will culminate in the Narthex, the location of the final station, and then into our Holy Week chapel service. We invite you to come each Wednesday during Lent, or any day of the week as you are able, and walk the stations with Christ, with your family, and with each other, and be blessed on the journey.
