DESCRIPTION:Cascade UMC and Peachtree Road UMC will share a powerful experience led by Civil Rights Tours Atlanta\, visiting key sites pivotal to the Civil Rights Movement. Our tour will include compelling video reflections from leaders such as Andrew Young\, John Lewis\, and Julian Bond\, offering first-hand accounts of moments that changed our city and nation.  The day will conclude with a group dinner and discussion at Mary Mac’s Tea Room.  $50 per person includes tour and dinner. \nOnline registration opens January 4.

DESCRIPTION:The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is a museum and human rights organization in Atlanta inspires people to tap their own power to change the world around them. The Center’s iconic exhibitions feature the papers and artifacts of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr.; the history of the civil rights movement in the United States; and stories from the struggle for human rights around the world today. \nPRUMC and Cascade UMC will visit the Center and then share a meal together at Mary Mac’s Tea Room.  Due to the nature of our group reservations\, this experience is capped at 60 total participants. \nREGISTER HERE. \nMeet at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights\, located at 100 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30313.\n10:00 am – 11:45 am:  The National Center for Civil and Human Rights ($15/person for group tour)\n12:15 – 1:30 pm: Mary Mac’s Tea Room ($35/person for buffet lunch)
