In loving memory of our longtime theologian-in-residence, Dr. Manfred Hoffmann, PRUMC will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Who better to deliver this message than Dr. Jonathan Strom, Professor of Church History at Candler – a position held by Manfred prior to his emeritus status.

Dr. Strom has a particular interest in the history of Protestant clergy and has written extensively on reform movements. He has a deep understanding of how the Reformation, which began 500 years ago this October, has shaped many faiths and what that means for us in our time.

At the official beginning of our stewardship campaign for the 2018 church budget, please attend with your attention and questions as we hear from a panel of lay leaders from the past and present to discuss church finances. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the church budget and how your financial support impacts the work of the church both now and in the year ahead. Chief Operations Officer Raymond Reynolds will moderate the panel and questions.
