We believe that compassion is the greatest healer. When we receive even the slightest touch of compassion, we experience a hope that makes life seem a little easier, a little more possible. Our Support Programs bring people together in compassion to share, heal and grow together.  To find the program that best fits your need, please contact Rev. Carolyn Stephens at 404.240.8207 or carolyns@prumc.org.

Supportive Ministries

Homebound Visitation

Through the PRUMC Homebound Visitation Ministry, individuals, families, small groups and Sunday School classes provide support for members who cannot come to church – many of whom you may already know.

If you would like to learn more about visitation opportunities or if you or someone you know would enjoy having a visitor, please contact Rev. Julie Wright at 404.240.8203 or juliew@prumc.org.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry equips lay persons to provide one-on-one Christian care to anyone experiencing life crises such as hospitalization, grief, loss, disability, divorce, spiritual crisis, or other life transitions.

Stephen Ministers can help bring individuals in these times of need to a closer understanding of God’s presence and peace.

If you or someone you know needs a Stephen Minister, please contact Rev. Carolyn Stephens at 404.240.8207 or carolyns@prumc.org for a confidential discussion of the need.
