I have always loved music and have played several instruments. At age 5, I started playing the organ, then piano, and later the flute. My parents were in the choir at our Methodist church growing up and I played hand bells, turned pages for our pianist, and often played my flute in service.
When I moved to Atlanta I fell in love with Peachtree Road and its amazing music program and joined the church. Then one day I noticed a request for people to sing in the Carols by Candlelight Service. I was so excited to join! I sang in the choir and played the flute in that wonderful service in 2010. I was hooked and quickly joined the Parish Choir. Two years ago, I moved into the Chancel Choir.
It really is one of the most rewarding and spiritual things I do!
