Respite Care Atlanta Parade

    “On July 2nd a Patriotic parade was held in the parking lot of Second Ponce de Leon Church. Eleven of our families participated. They arrived with their cars decorated and driven by the caretakers. Volunteers dressed as Uncle Sam, Betsy Ross, Statue of Liberty and other patriotic figures. Patriotic music was played! Over 30 volunteers participated. It was a huge success.” -RCA Volunteer 

    PRUMC members volunteered at Respite Care Atlanta‘s Patriotic Parade. Gary Schneeberg was Uncle Sam, Pablo Mejias was Lady Liberty, Anne Breedlove was Queen of Quarantine, plus you’ll see Bill Thigpen, Celene Joiner, Holly Hanchey, Dick Dietz, and several others.
