Advent Bible Study and Ornament Workshop for Adults: The Jesse Tree
Mondays, August 27-November 19, 10:00 am, The Art Room/ Harp Student Center, $30
We adorn a Jesse tree (Isaiah 11:1) with illustrated ornaments that represent the people, prophesies, and events leading up to the birth of Jesus. Beginning the 1st of December through Christmas day, the ornaments tell the story of God in the Old Testament, connecting the Advent season with the faithfulness of God across four thousand years of history. We will study these Bible stories and make ornaments for our very own Jesse Trees. Space is limited to 12. Contact Leslie Watkins for more information at lesliew@prumc.org.
