Every other year, this nationally recognized choral ensemble embarks on a European tour performing at the great cathedrals including Notre Dame, Chartres, St. Paul’s and most recently as the choir-in-residence at Westminster Abbey in 2018.
The Chancel Choir is always looking for new members. No audition is necessary, but an interview with the Director of Music is requested. Child care is available during rehearsal times. Contact Scott Atchison at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Children in pre-K through 5th grade can find a wonderful home at PRUMC through membership in one of our children’s choirs! At every level, your children will grow in their ability to worship, love music, be part of a team, and make new friends. All 125+ members come together to present a beautiful Christmas Tree Lighting program and an amazing new children’s musical each year! Look below for more info on each choir. Cherubs begin learning to sing in their “head” voice, listen for the beat, and focus on a short devotion. We also learn classic hymns such as Jesus Loves Me and have fun activities throughout the year! You can choose from Wednesday Cherubs, who rehearse in the early evening, or Thursday Cherubs, who rehearse in the early afternoon. In addition to regularly scheduled rehearsals, Cherubs occasionally have special combined rehearsals and sing in worship.

Covenant Choir members build on the foundations laid down in Cherubl, expanding into a broader repertoire of music and hymns and music note recognition. Our end-of-year bowling/pizza party caps a great year of fun and friendship! In addition to regularly scheduled rehearsals, Covenant members occasionally have special combined rehearsals and sing in worship.

Celebration members grow as singers and team members, expanding our vocal range with multi-part harmony and truly learning to read music. We also perform service during the year. Our end-of-year fun day at Lanier Waterpark has become a big tradition, capping a wonderful time in children’s choirs! Celebration members occasionally have special combined rehearsals and sing in worship.
