Leslie Lyons Watkins is one of our Associate Ministers. She is also the Director of Adult and Creation Care Ministry and a Spiritual Director. Leslie loves working alongside this inspirational and generous congregation as we learn together what it is to live in and share the love of Christ.

Leslie attended Agnes Scott College (BA, Economics and French) and Candler School of Theology/ Emory University (M. Div.) and received training in Spiritual Direction from the Haden Institute. She began working at Peachtree Road in 2006.

Leslie and her husband, Porter, have two grown children. They live in their hometown of Avondale Estates, GA, with their two furbabies, Hanx and Abbey. Leslie is a docent at the High Museum of Art. When she is not working, you will find Leslie and Porter with their family and friends (usually sharing a meal) and attending events around the city. Learning from Artist Jill Steenhuis at her painting workshop in Aix-en-Provence, France, is on her bucket list.
