The Georgia Boy Choir serves as the Ensemble-in-Residence at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Throughout the year, the Georgia Boy Choir participates in worship services, adding the unique sound of boys’ and young men’s voices to the church’s vibrant musical life. From leading morning services to presenting sacred choral works, the Georgia Boy Choir approaches this role with deep gratitude for the partnership it shares with PRUMC.
Auditions open to boys age 5-10. No Experience Required!
About the Georgia Boy Choir
The purpose of the Georgia Boy Choir is to achieve the highest possible standard of musical excellence, while instilling in its members a life-long appreciation of music, an abiding love of beauty, a keen sense of respect for themselves and others, and the self-discipline necessary to become effective leaders in their families, their communities, and the world.
Events at PRUMC and Beyond
At PRUMC, the Choir’s calendar includes beloved traditions like morning services, Evensong, The Many Moods of Christmas, and Christmas with the Georgia Boy Choir. Beyond the church, the Georgia Boy Choir International Festival gathers singers from around the world for days of music-making, culminating in a Grand Finale Concert at Atlanta Symphony Hall.
Each summer, the group tours internationally, performing in historic venues and developing cultural connections. In 2026 the Georgia Boy Choir will embark on an Alpine Tour that will take them to Switzerland, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Austria, where they will collaborate with renowned choirs and share their music in breathtaking settings.
