Rollins Center Canopy Extension Construction
May 18 – August 18, 2025
To improve safe, all-weather access, the Rollins Center Canopy will be extended to cover two lanes of drop-off. The Rollins turnaround and sidewalk will close. The main Rollins entrance will remain open, but we encourage using alternate entrances for safety.
- May 16, 2025 – Construction trailer will be placed in the Rollins Center turnaround.
- May 18, 2025 – Construction fencing and covered walkway will be installed throughout the week.
- Red Lot 2 will be reserved for Construction Parking.
- Red Lot 1 will remain open to the congregation.
- A covered walkway containing an ADA ramp will extend from the Rollins entrance to the Red Lot 1 parking lot to provide overhead protection.
- Preschool and Drop-In parents parking in Red Lot 1 should enter Rollins and pass through Grace Hall to access the Children’s Building main entrance.
- Dogwood customers parking in Red Lot 1 should enter Rollins, go past the Hospitality Suite and take the B Hall to access the shop.
- The Soccer Field will have access for teams. An ADA entrance will be through a gate along West Shadowlawn Ave.
- The Playground will be accessible from Green Lot 1 parking lot.
- PRUMC Staff can access the Rollin Building from Green Lot 1 parking lot.
- The Sidewalk behind the Rollins Building will be closed.
