Bill is from the small town of Thomaston in middle Georgia and is a graduate of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta and his Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He and his wife Wendie have been married for 39 years and have two adult children (Sara and Will). Bill has served churches throughout the North Georgia Conference including Trinity-on-the-Hill UMC in Augusta, Trinity UMC in Cartersville, and the First UMC in Athens. He became the senior minister at Peachtree Road UMC in 2008, and his hobbies include spending time with his three grandchildren, playing classic golf courses, and enjoying time at the beach. He loves to eat barbeque and icebox lemon pie!

Geoff Beakley is our Associate Minister who leads our men’s ministries and Scouting programs. He loves working with the men of PRUMC and discussing the scriptures with them in small groups. Geoff is from Atlanta, Georgia, attended Henderson High School in Dekalb County, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from GA Tech in 1994. Geoff had a 21-year career in sales and operations management in the energy conservation industry. The last eight years of his career were with Siemens, where he was a global director. As a member of PRUMC, Geoff experienced the call to ministry. In 2018, Geoff earned a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Geoff currently has a dual appointment with the United Methodist Church as an associate minister at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and as the Senior Campus Minister of the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech. Geoff is married to his wife, Leigh, and they have two four-legged kids – two Labradoodles – named Noah and Fin. Outside of work, you can find Geoff fishing, golfing, or working in the yard.

Elizabeth loves helping people grow in their walk of faith and in the knowledge and love of God. She grew up in Mississippi and attended college at the University of South Alabama. She is a graduate of Candler School of Theology at Emory and was ordained as an elder in the North Georgia Conference in 2021. Outside of work, you can find Elizabeth singing, playing her guitar, enjoying baseball games, and spending time with her husband Phillip and her daughter Tilly. Learning to play the violin is on her to-do list.

Originally from Athens, GA, Josh served in ministry at his home church – Athens First United Methodist Church – for eight years before being appointed to Peachtree Road. Daniel loves the chance to meet new people and help people discover and rediscover how much God loves them. He is married to Erin, who works at Emory University, and they are the proud parents of Georgia. Daniel usually has a cup of coffee in hand and is always on the search for Atlanta’s best cup of coffee. He is originally from Sevierville, Tennessee, and is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Emory’s Candler School of Theology.

Leslie Lyons Watkins is one of our Associate Ministers. She is the Director of the Young Adult Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Creation Care Ministry and is also a Spiritual Director. Leslie loves working alongside this inspirational and generous congregation as we learn together what it is to live in and share the love of Christ.
Leslie attended Agnes Scott College (BA, Economics and French) and Candler School of Theology/ Emory University (M. Div.) and received training in Spiritual Direction from the Haden Institute. She began working at Peachtree Road in 2006.
Leslie and her husband, Porter, have two grown children. They live in her hometown of Avondale Estates, GA, with their two fur-babies, Hanx and Abbey. Leslie is a docent at the High Museum of Art. When she is not working, you will find Leslie and Porter with their family and friends (usually sharing a meal) and attending events around the city. Learning from Artist Jill Steenhuis at her painting workshop in Aix-en-Provence, France is on her bucket list.

Julie Wright is one of our Associate Ministers. She organizes activities and events for older adults as well as coordinates our homebound ministry. Julie loves working with our seasoned saints, not only for their wisdom but also for the kind truths they share.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio but grew up in Chamblee and has lived in the Atlanta area since 1967 (before I-285 was built). Julie’s been married to Tal for 35+ years. Tal retired from Georgia Power where Julie worked until their three children came along. When she isn’t working, you will find her gardening, traveling, reading and being with family.
Her undergrad from Georgia State University is in Journalism with a specialization in Public Relations and Advertising. Julie graduated with an M.A. in Christian Education from Asbury Seminary in May 2008, was commissioned as a provisional deacon in June 2009, and was ordained as a full connection deacon at Annual Conference in June 2014. Julie loves to teach about Scripture. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.” Her favorite scriptural passage is Acts 2:1-21 about Pentecost, the birthday of the church. Prior to joining the staff at PRUMC, Julie served Roswell UMC as the Director of Adult Ministries.

Jamie Jenkins is our Minister of Visitation. He is a part of the pastoral care team that tends to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the congregation through visits and ongoing personal contact. Special attention is given to the homebound and when people are in the hospital or rehab facilities. In addition, he serves as needed in the worship services, and teaches Sunday School and other classes. He also plans and coordinates faith-based travel for the congregation. These various roles complement his love for people and his sharing life with them.
Jamie is originally from Mobile, Alabama but has lived in Georgia since 1972 and has served in various capacities in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He and his wife stay connected to the Gulf Coast of Alabama through their many family members who still reside in that area. Apart from his work (ministry), Jamie loves to travel and attend sporting events- especially the Atlanta Braves baseball and Atlanta United soccer.
Jamie is an ordained United Methodist minister who retired in 2014 from the North Georgia Annual Conference after 41 years of service. During those years he served 23 years as pastor and 18 years in various leadership roles in the Annual Conference. He graduated from Elim Bible Institute in Lima, New York. He received his B.A. degree from Bryan College, in Dayton Tennessee, his Masters of Divinity (M.Div) degree from Emory University in Atlanta, and his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) degree from McCormick School of Theology in Chicago.

Darrell Osborne is our Audio/Visual Manager. He schedules and manages the resources and personnel for a majority of the events, services, and concerts that use/need/have an audio-visual aspect. In addition, he is most often operating and working those events that require hands-on operation. A majority of Darrell’s work revolves around video, therefore he loves striving to create video perfection with the gear on-hand. A native Atlantan, who has seen this city grow, he loves when the home team wins no matter the sport! When not at the church, Darrell might be found working with his production/dj company packing dance floors for high-end events, or just anything outside. Hiking the Routeburn Track in New Zealand is high on his ever-changing bucket list.

Roger Laney came to work at PRUMC in the fall of 2018 as our Controller and is responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations of the church and preschool. Roger attended Florida State University (Go Noles!) and graduated with a degree in accounting. He has over 35 years experience working in both public and private accounting sectors and has specialized in nonprofit accounting for over 15 years of his career. Originally from a small town in the panhandle of Florida (Chipley), he loves the outdoors and playing and watching sports. When not working at the church, you will find Roger spending time with his family in Dawsonville, hiking, fishing, golfing and enjoying the beautiful N Ga mountains. A trip to Hawaii and Japan are both on his bucket list.

Roxiann Rogers is our Accounts Payable/Payroll Coordinator. She processes the weekly payables and ensures that invoices are paid promptly, as well as transmitting the Church Staff’s payroll bi-monthly. Roxiann maneuvers through her daily tasks with optimism, adapting to new challenges enthusiastically, with an eagerness to learn new skills. Originally from Waynesboro, GA, a small town south of Augusta, that is known as the Bird Dog Capital of the World, she visits family quite often for the home-cooked meals she grew up on. Outside of work, you can find Roxiann and her family taking many weekend trips to the beach for relaxation or to the scenic mountains to enjoy nature. Completing her call to author a book, mastering the steps to driving an eighteen-wheeler, and visiting Canada are on her to-do list.

Deb Knott is our Events Coordinator. She works with all of the church ministries, as well as outside groups who utilize our beautiful and functional meeting and event space. Deb also partners with our Wedding Planner to introduce members and guests to weddings at PRUMC.
Prior to working at Peachtree Road, Deb worked as the Manager of Global Meetings and Events for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and managed meetings and events throughout Europe and North America for their Medical Education Department. After moving to Atlanta, Deb’s goal was to find a position working with a non-profit to share her experience as well as do good work. Deb moved here to be closer to her three grandchildren and has been to at least 500 baseball and soccer games! Her current hobby is creating gardens, and she is on her third major landscaping project.

Dawn Hawkins is our Director of Global Missions. She is responsible for overseeing adult and family mission trips both outside and inside the United States. Dawn also directs financial outreach to our global partners in ministry and in natural disaster/crisis relief. She holds degrees in engineering and finance and spent years in corporate America, but it is her love of travel, service, and of PRUMC that lead her to this second chapter in her career. A military brat with roots in Coastal Mississippi, Dawn has a passion for sailing but also enjoys cycling, hiking, and camping with her husband, Chip, and three nearly-grown children (+ one large dog named Daisy). Dawn’s bucket-list item is to visit 100 countries before she dies. She currently is at 42, so she has some work to do.

Beth Spencer is our Director of Volunteer Service and Local Outreach. She helps connect our members to meaningful opportunities within our church walls and out in the Atlanta Community. She oversees large church-wide events such as Christmas Kindness and the Season of Service and is passionate about the underserved. She maintains close relationships with the 22 partner agencies the church supports. Beth grew up at Peachtree Road, and graduated from Pace Academy and Hollins University. When not serving the church and the community, Beth enjoys watching sports with her husband and sons, reading historical fiction, gardening, and being outside. Her dream is to spend time in Great Britain exploring the Cotswolds, Cornwall, the Scottish Highlands, and visiting Normandy France.

She credits that degree with helping her work with many different kinds of people. Diane enjoys time with her friends, watching live music, binge-watching, and reading murder mysteries. Ron Greer is the Director of the Pastoral Counseling Service, a ministry in which he has been involved for forty years. He is an ordained United Methodist minister, pastoral counselor, and marriage therapist. Ron is the author of four books ranging in topics from grief to integrity to being parents of adult children. Ranking high among his joys in life is playing football in the backyard with three absolutely delightful grandsons.

Andrea DeWalt is a licensed psychologist in the Pastoral Counseling Service. She works with children, adolescents, and adults (both individuals and couples) offering counseling and psychological evaluations. In addition, Andrea enjoys participating in joint projects with other staff throughout the church. She earned her B.S. at Virginia Tech, her M.S. at Radford University, and her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia. She also attended the seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory, and earned a MRPL degree. Heather Hart is the office manager for the Pastoral Counseling Service. She schedules client appointments and handles bookkeeping there. Heather loves working with clients and meeting new people. She also loves spreadsheets and is a bit of an accounting nerd. Originally from Tallahassee, FL, she enjoys attending FSU football games and visiting family there. When Heather is not working, she loves being a mom to Hudson and Lily. Other passions include cooking/baking, gardening, and volunteering at a food pantry in Decatur. Her bucket list is mostly composed of travel, especially to India.

Josh Miles is an Associate Minister on our staff. Josh works with prayer, pastoral care, worship, and racial justice here at the church. Josh loves listening to people, investing in people, and affirming people’s gifts for ministry and discipleship. Originally from Athens, GA, Josh served in ministry at his home church – Athens First United Methodist Church – for eight years before being appointed to Peachtree Road. In Athens, Josh developed a passion for pouring into the next generation as he directed the church’s youth ministry. Outside of work, you can find Josh spending time with his beautiful wife, Rev. Emily Miles, or following college sports.

Wayne Bennett is our Property and Facility Manager. He manages all the happenings of Peachtree Road with AV, Events, event setups, maintenance, custodial, security, renovations, properties, and landscaping. Wayne is grateful for the opportunity to work at Peachtree Road, the busiest place on earth! He attended Dekalb College while studying electrical construction and project management. Outside of work, his granddaughter occupies a lot of his time. He enjoys cars, motorcycles, camping, and home projects. You might even catch him riding dirt bikes with his son. Traveling back to Israel and exploring the United States is on his bucket list.

Elias Collaso
Facilities Team
Elias Collaso is our setups, general maintenance, and concierge here at Peachtree Road. He loves helping people and he really likes having everything nice and neat for every event. Originally from Mexico, he attended high school in his hometown of San Luis.
Elias likes to cook and spend time with his friends. He also likes to go to the movies and swim. He attends church every Sunday. He wants to visit the archeological sites and cities in Mexico to learn more about the culture and cuisines of his country.

James Jordan

James is part of our Maintenance Team and is the lead person over setups and general maintenance. James came to Peachtree Road from Chester, South Carolina. The family setting here at Peachtree Road reminds him of home. He loves connecting with the members of the church and is well known.
He wears many hats. James served in the military. He also has medical training. Away from work, James enjoys fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. He really loves the outdoors. James has a special connection with our seniors. This connection keeps him motivated. James plans to have a farm in the future but is perfectly okay with being a good steward and serving the congregation at Peachtree Road until then.

Santos Ramirez

Santos Ramirez is our maintenance technician. He helps with the air-conditioning system, landscaping, and wherever he is needed. He has been at Peachtree Road for 21 years. Santos likes to learn how to fix things. He is always appreciative of any knowledge he can get from others. Originally from the rural highlands in El Salvador, he attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, studying agriculture. Growing vegetables is natural to him. Outside of work, he loves to garden. He is involved in his church and plays soccer. His dream is to become a US citizen. He also wants to go to poor countries, like El Salvador, to teach people how to grow vegetables. He also has the Holy Land on his bucket list.

Israel is a member of our maintenance team. He performs setups for events, and general maintenance, and is a concierge at Peachtree Road. He loves his job. He assists members with their needs. Originally from Hidalgo, Mexico. He loves learning about his ancestral culture, (Aztec, Zapotecs, and Mixtecos). Outside of work you can find him visiting places to try new foods and goodies. His bucket list is to visit the Holy Land, especially the Jordan River and Jerusalem.

Rondall Simms is one of our maintenance team members. He does event setups, and maintenance, and keeps things in place and in order at Peachtree Road. Rondall loves to assist and take care of others. Originally from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, he loves to help people and loves to play dominos. Outside of work, Rondall loves to visit family and friends. His goal is to visit South Africa.

Alba Mladenoff is our receptionist. She manages the reception area of the church which includes, assisting with the Outreach program, compiling the prayer list, and helping members and all visitors in any capacity to ensure their requests can be met. Alba loves her role as church ambassador engaging with everyone who stops by. Throughout the day, you are sure to hear laughter and good conversation taking place at the front desk, she is grateful for the friendships she has made throughout the years at PRUMC. Being a New Orleanian, it is no wonder she loves to cook and host family and friends in both New Orleans and Atlanta. She says nothing can compare to a good ole crawfish boil with all but the kitchen sink thrown in (well, maybe just the faucet handles!) Alba’s father traveled the world and she dreamed of traveling with him. She will visit the places he talked about and experience his memories first-hand!

Bill is from the small town of Thomaston in middle Georgia and is a graduate of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta and his Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He and his wife Wendie have been married for 39 years and have two adult children (Sara and Will). Bill has served churches throughout the North Georgia Conference including Trinity-on-the-Hill UMC in Augusta, Trinity UMC in Cartersville, and the First UMC in Athens. He became the senior minister at Peachtree Road UMC in 2008, and his hobbies include spending time with his three grandchildren, playing classic golf courses, and enjoying time at the beach. He loves to eat barbeque and icebox lemon pie!

Jane Ogle is assistant to Senior Minister, Bill Britt. In addition to helping Bill with whatever he needs, she schedules baptisms, helps organize funerals and memorial services, is secretary of the Administrative Board, and completes accountability reports required by the North Georgia Conference. She enjoys interacting with our church members and the variety of opportunities her role allows. Jane grew up in a small town in Alabama, graduated from Auburn University, and has lived in Atlanta since. In her off-hours, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors, working in her yard, reading, downtime with her cats, and British television.

He oversees all operations related to providing youth sports leagues, camps, and enrichment classes to families in our community. He considers his job a labor of love and finds great satisfaction in serving Buckhead with excellent programs. Originally from Atlanta, Charles attended Pace Academy as a child and then Marist High School and Auburn University. His wife, Joeleen, is an Associate Athletic Director at Georgia Tech and they have two children – Bobbie, a Dance Major at the University of Kentucky and Ryan, a student at Marist. When he’s not working, you might find him Kayak fishing on the Hooch!

Originally from Alexander City, Alabama, Beth enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends and her two sons and daughter-in-law. Her church involvement includes New Beginnings Sunday School Class, Altar Guild, Flower Guild, and Women’s Prison Ministry efforts.

Zach Plants is our Ministry Coordinator at Westside Table. He is behind the scenes each week making sure that our worship and events have all the necessary materials, have been planned and announced, and he keeps our database up to date. Zach loves being able to focus on the logistics so that Westside Table can grow into a beautiful community. He is originally from Rome, Georgia, and attended Maryville College in Tennessee for his undergrad. Zach still loves visiting Tennessee and you can find him at Cades Cove or the Foothills Parkway whenever he is there. He is currently at Emory’s Candler School of Theology working on his Master of Divinity and you can often find him reading at Atlanta’s Botanical Gardens.

Leslie Lyons Watkins is one of our Associate Ministers. She is the Director of the Young Adult Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Creation Care Ministry and is also a Spiritual Director. Leslie loves working alongside this inspirational and generous congregation as we learn together what it is to live in and share the love of Christ.
Leslie attended Agnes Scott College (BA, Economics and French) and Candler School of Theology/ Emory University (M. Div.) and received training in Spiritual Direction from the Haden Institute. She began working at Peachtree Road in 2006.
Leslie and her husband, Porter, have two grown children. They live in her hometown of Avondale Estates, GA, with their two fur-babies, Hanx and Abbey. Leslie is a docent at the High Museum of Art. When she is not working, you will find Leslie and Porter with their family and friends (usually sharing a meal) and attending events around the city. Learning from Artist Jill Steenhuis at her painting workshop in Aix-en-Provence, France is on her bucket list.

Chris Mucha is our Director of Youth and Their Families. He oversees all ministries serving 6-12th grade youth. Chris loves young people and connecting them to Jesus. Chris also coaches soccer at North Atlanta High School and is the Judging Chair for the state science fair and science symposium. He also sits on various scholarship committees and boards. Chris has undergraduate degrees from Berry College and Georgia Tech in Mathematics, Physics, and Materials Science Engineering. He met his wife, Ashley, at Georgia Tech and they love supporting their alma mater.
Outside of work, you can find Chris and his family at the local movie theater, at Atlanta United games as founding-members, or at Riverwood International Charter High School supporting their son, Dayton, in marching band, golf, or soccer.

Ryan Holder is an Associate Director of Youth Ministry. He loves sharing about Jesus through teaching and worship. He oversees the youth worship team, facilities, events, and budget management. Ryan loves to see students involved in the life of the church and building lasting relationships.
Originally from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, Ryan is a true AF brat and claims Panama City, FL as home but has lived in the Atlanta area for most of his life. Along with his wife, Kirby, and their 3 children (James, Liam, and Bailey), you can find him cheering for *most* Atlanta sports including the Braves, Hawks, and as Founding Members for Atlanta United…but not the Falcons (go Bucs). He is also a musician (Music Ed at Florida State University, percussion) and gamer. He loves to travel and spend time at the beach in Hilton Head with his family.

Rachel Hockman is one of our Associate Directors of Youth Ministry, with a focus on trip logistics, small groups, and Shepherd training and recruitment. Rachel loves retreats, mission trips, and one-on-one opportunities to minister to students and parents. Rachel graduated from LaGrange College with a BA in Religion with a concentration in Church Leadership. It was her senior year in college when she first started serving as a Youth Minister and felt called to work with young people. Rachel loves spending time with her husband, Trey, and son, Samuel. They enjoy playing at the park and feeding the geese.
