Men’s Annual Spiritual Retreat

Rev. Bill Britt and Rev. Geoff Beakley invite you to join them for PRUMC’s second annual men’s spiritual retreat in the North Georgia mountains. This retreat is a unique opportunity for personal growth, helping you deepen your connection with God and build stronger relationships with other men from PRUMC. Our moderator for the retreat is Dr. Kendall Soulen, the professor of Systematic Theology at Emory University. Dr. Soulen believes that the power of God’s grace to redeem believers from sin is a crucial part of the gospel message, but he thinks it’s only the gospel’s subplot! Dr. Soulen will help us explore what he calls “The Main Plot”: that God desires us to experience him by his power, and how, by God’s power, our capacity to be with God, to be with ourselves, and to be with others expands. The retreat will explore these affirmations and the difference they make for Christian life and faith.
