In John 20:19-23, the risen Christ appears to His fearful disciples, offering them peace, showing them His wounds, and breathing the Holy Spirit upon them, sending them out into the world with a mission of forgiveness and hope. This powerful moment marks the beginning of a new era for the followers of Jesus—a new century of faith, courage, and purpose. This sermon will remind us that just as Christ empowered His first disciples, He also equips us today to step forward in faith. As we enter a new chapter, we are called to move beyond fear, embrace the peace of Christ, and boldly live out the mission He has given us.
