Sunday Worship: The Wesleyan Way – Don’t Stop Now

Sunday, August 24, 8:45 am - 12:15 pm

Sanctuary

Rev. Bill Britt preaching

Don’t Stop Now
– In Galatians 5:22-23, Paul lists the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—as signs of a life guided by God. This passage reminds us that spiritual growth is an ongoing journey, and these virtues are not just ideals but daily practices empowered by the Spirit. Through this message, we are encouraged not to settle or grow weary, but to keep living into the fullness of God’s presence with renewed purpose and perseverance.

This Sunday is part of the Methodist Sermon Series:

The Wesleyan Way
Rooted in Scripture and shaped by the grace-filled theology of John Wesley, this series invites us to explore what it means to live a life of faith from beginning to end—and every step in between. Through messages on grace, transformation, perseverance, and eternal hope, we’ll reflect on how God meets us where we are, calls us into purposeful living, and sustains us with the Spirit’s power. As we journey through The Wesleyan Way, we’ll discover that the Christian life is not a single moment, but a lifelong path of growing in love, doing good, and staying grounded in hope.
