Embracing the Un-expected
-In Matthew 1:18-25, Joseph is faced with a shocking and difficult situation, yet chooses to trust God and embrace a path he never anticipated. This passage teaches us that when life takes an unexpected turn, God may be doing something far greater than we imagined. Through this message, we are encouraged to respond with faith, courage, and openness—knowing that God often works through life’s surprises to bring about hope and redemption.
8:45, 10:00 & 11:15 am services
This Sunday is part of the Advent Series:
Prepare Him Room
Advent invites us to make space—in our hearts, our homes, and our world—for the coming of Christ. This series leads us through the longing and waiting of the season as we search for hope in darkness, learn to be at peace with the unknown, and open ourselves to the unexpected ways God shows up. As we draw closer to the light of Christmas, we rediscover the joy and wonder of Emmanuel—God with us—breaking in with grace and love for all.
December 21 | Luke 2:8-14 | Joy to the World
