Sunday Worship: Love Kindness

Sunday, September 14, 8:45 am - 12:15 pm

Sanctuary

Rev. Bill Britt, preaching

Love Kindness
-In Luke 6:27-36, Jesus calls us to love our enemies, do good to those who mistreat us, and show mercy just as God is merciful. This passage teaches that true kindness isn’t reserved for those who are easy to love—it’s a radical, generous way of life rooted in grace. Through this message, we are invited to reflect God’s heart by choosing compassion over retaliation and practicing kindness that transforms both giver and receiver.

This Sunday is part of the Fall Series:

What does the Lord Require
Drawing from the prophetic call in Micah 6:8, this series explores the core values of a faithful life: doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God. Through the teachings of Jesus and the witness of Scripture, we’ll discover that these aren’t abstract ideals—they are daily invitations to live with purpose, compassion, and unity. As we seek to follow Christ more fully, we’ll be challenged to embody a faith that is active, grounded in love, and lived out in community with others.
