Walk Humbly with God
-In Matthew 18:1-5, Jesus responds to a question about greatness by lifting up the humility and trust of a child as the true model of life in God’s kingdom. This passage teaches us that walking humbly with God means letting go of status and self-importance and embracing a spirit of openness, dependence, and grace. Through this message, we are reminded that humility is not weakness, but a posture of faith that draws us closer to God and one another.
8:45, 10:00 & 11:15 am services
This Sunday is part of the Fall Series:
What does the Lord Require
Drawing from the prophetic call in Micah 6:8, this series explores the core values of a faithful life: doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God. Through the teachings of Jesus and the witness of Scripture, we’ll discover that these aren’t abstract ideals—they are daily invitations to live with purpose, compassion, and unity. As we seek to follow Christ more fully, we’ll be challenged to embody a faith that is active, grounded in love, and lived out in community with others.
