Sanctuary Guild Volunteers Needed

The sanctuary guild keeps the pews in our sacred worship spaces tidied, refreshed, and restocked for services. It is an important volunteer duty – but one that is flexible and enjoyable! Make a resolution to spend some extra time in the sanctuary or chapel this year as part of this dedicated team. The commitment is only an hour each month, your choice of day. Coro Vocati

Coro Vocati is an ensemble of professional singers with a mission to create music at the highest level of choral artistry. The choir has established itself as one of the premier professional choral ensembles in the southeast. With a repertoire spanning the breadth of choral literature, from early music and time honored classics to new works, Coro Vocati’s performances represent a diversity of musical styles and cultural backgrounds. The choir is a champion of modern composers, having performed a number of local, regional, and world premieres, and is active in commissioning new works.

Seeking Shalom
Justice, Community, and the Church’s Mission in the World

Wednesdays, January 11 – February 8, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Are you seeking wholeness and healing in our community and in the world around you? Come join us for a 5-part study open to adults and youth. Dr. Ryan Bonfiglio, of Emory’s Candler School of Theology, will lead us in a transformational exploration of the biblical concept of shalom, including its relation to matters of justice, poverty, social divides, and reconciliation. This course is free to those who register, and you will be able to participate in-person in Grace Hall or online via Zoom.

Prayer Ministry Volunteers
We have great resources for you to make prayer a blessing in your life and others this year. Prayer volunteers lift up others in prayer and write notes of hope and encouragement each season. One Lamb Service Project

Is your class or small group looking for a service project? Is cooking your “love language”? The One Lamb Initiative has an opportunity to drop off a monthly dinner to approximately 16 clients enrolled in Buckhead Behavioral Health, a local recovery center. Kids’ Worship!

Each month has a new theme and September’s is all about courage: having the guts to do the right thing. We can’t wait to welcome your older elementary students to this awesome worship experience.

Weekday Drop-In Childcare
Monday through Friday, 9:15 am to 1:15 pm PRUMC

Drop-In Childcare provides care for children from four months through six years of age in a safe, loving environment while parents take a break.  Drop-In has a wonderful staff consisting of childcare professionals, former teachers, and college students.  Employees are trained in CPR/First Aid and participate in on-going training throughout the year. PRUMC Youth Ministry and the One Lamb Mental Wellness Initiative are thrilled to welcome licensed counselor, best-selling co-author, and international speaker Dr. Chinwé Williams. She will speak to parents, grandparents, guardians, and all who care for children and youth. Dr. Williams has worked in areas of counseling for 18 years and is passionate about equipping adults to help kids and teens feel seen and supported through the power of connection. High School Mission Trip – Corozal, Belize

Service is a core value for us at PRUMC Youth and what an opportunity we get to be able to build relationships with the people of Corozal, Belize! We are partnering with local churches to put on VBS, do some light construction, serve at the Methodist school, and more. You will not want to miss this! This is an unforgettable experience. Our 52nd Habitat Build!
Saturdays, February 18 – April 22
PRUMC and Habitat believe that every person should have access to a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Because of that belief, we team up each year to build homes with and for hard-working families. Home recipients attend required classes on maintenance, budgeting, and more.
