We appreciate your contacting the church when you know of someone in need.  If you would like to submit a pastoral care request you may fill out the form found on this page.  If you prefer to speak to someone in person, please call the church offices at 404.266.2373 on weekdays or call our Pastoral Care Emergency Line at 404.419.7591 after 5:00 pm or on weekends.  If you would like your pastoral care request to be confidential and only seen by a minister, please be sure to indicate.

Sympathy to
The family of Jim Magbee on his death on July 22, 2016.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 31 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of PRUMC.  After the service a reception will be held at Cherokee Town Club.

The family of Roy Drukenmiller on his death on July 24, 2016.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary of PRUMC.  After the service a reception will be held in Heritage Hall.

Homebound Visitation Ministry
Through the PRUMC Homebound Visitation Ministry, individuals, families, small groups and Sunday School classes provide support for members who cannot come to church – many of whom you may already know! If you would like to learn about outreach opportunities or if you or someone you know would enjoy having a visitor, contact Julie Wright at 404.240.8203 or
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry equips lay persons to provide one-on-one Christian care to anyone experiencing life crises such as hospitalization, grief, loss, disability, divorce, spiritual crisis, or other life transitions. Stephen Ministers can help bring individuals in these times of need to a closer understanding of God’s presence and peace. Dementia Support Group
Third Tuesday of the Month, 2:00-3:00, C101

This group offers spiritual support and practical resourcing to family members who are in the role of caregiver for spouses, parents, siblings or other family relations who have been diagnosed with dementia. For more information, contact Kathy King at
Movers and Shakers Parkinson’s Support Group
Second Wednesday of the Month, 12:00 pm, B152

If you or someone you love has Parkinson’s Disease, we invite you to participate in the PRUMC support group meeting of “The Movers and Shakers.” We meet each month for lunch and sharing. For more information, contact Sherry Wright at 404.842.1016 or

Friends of Rachel Infertility Support Group

Friends of Rachel is a monthly confidential group created for women struggling with infertility. The group offers support through prayer, scriptural and devotional study, shared stories, and periodic guidance from medical and spiritual professionals.
