Lent 2024

Rekindling the Flames of Our Faith

You are invited to participate in the spiritual practice of fasting for renewed spiritual clarity this Lent. We will fast once a week, spending time in prayer and meditation.

The Season of Service

40 days of helping others in our community

This season, we come together to serve others as the body of Christ. Join us this Lent to make a big impact in a million small ways. We have outreach opportunities for all ages and stages that will make this time meaningful for you and those you help. This year, if you are unable to join a project, you have the option of donating to the church’s homeless assistance ministry.

Passion of the Christ: The Musical Stations of the Cross

Scott H. Atchison, gallery organ
Patrick Scott, chancel organ
John Lemley, narration
Schola, antiphons, Peachtree Carillon

Over the past decade, Peachtree Road has created a beautiful Lenten tradition through inspired improvisations and organ works played by two organists on the Church’s two consoles of the Great Organ, reflective settings sung by PRUMC’s Schola and live readings of connective scripture.   The Sanctuary is illuminated by the glow of hundreds of candles representing Christ’s light in world’s darkness and inspire moments of reflection and contemplation for the listener.

Holy Week Services

March 26 – March 28

Holy Week is a special time in the church year when we retell the stories of Jesus’ final days. Though marked by sacrifice and sorrow, we ultimately hear the message of God’s great gifts of love and hope. We remember that through grace there is new life! Please join us at our Holy Week services to bear witness to and reaffirm these events of our faith. “Do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19
